Adding support for new CSV files and updating and improving the accuracy of files already supported are things we do daily at Coinpanda. Typically, between 3-5 CSV integrations are updated each day.
These updates can be either minor or not noticeable by most users. Still, other times, we make major changes that may not be compatible with an earlier integration version.
Reasons for making such updates include:
New CSV files released by the exchange or service
New file header format made by the exchange or service
Added support for new transaction types
Improved accuracy in identifying currencies
Improved accuracy for fee handling
Fixing bugs related to importing transactions accurately
While we try our best to avoid breaking changes, this is sometimes unavoidable, and we recommend reimporting the file to ensure maximum accuracy and avoid duplicate transactions. In almost all cases, reimporting transactions in your wallet when required will result in much higher accuracy, which means you will spend less time reviewing the transactions imported and making fewer (or zero!) manual corrections.
Below is a table listing all the major CSV integration updates and the date recommended for reuploading any prior imported files.
