Some exchanges do not give Coinpanda access to the entire transaction history using API keys. If you have traded on these exchanges, you may also have to import a CSV file to make sure the entire transaction history has been imported.

Here is a list of known exchange API limitations today:

Binance and Binance US

Binance does not allow syncing transactions for delisted cryptocurrencies. If you have traded a coin that has been delisted, you will need to import these using a CSV file or by adding them manually. The following are known cryptocurrencies that have been delisted by Binance so far:

  • CLOAK, MOD, SALT, SUB, WINGS, BCN, CHAT, ICN, TRIG, CTR, LRC, BSV, SNGLS, VIA, RCN, WPR, OST, USDS, COVER, POE, TNT, ZAR, DGD, CTR, MCO, DLT, GVT, SKY, POA, BCPT, CMT, TNB, VIBE, ARN, FUEL, LUN,

  • All FTX leveraged tokens (BEAR, BULL, ETHBEAR, ETHBULL, etc)

Please see this page for a complete list of known Binance limitations.

KuCoin

The KuCoin API does not provide details for withdrawal fees prior to February 18th, 2019. You will need to add fees to your withdrawals manually to fix this.

As of January 2022, KuCoin has removed support for importing trade history prior to February 18th, 2019. This means you will need to export a CSV file with your trade history prior to February 18th and upload the file to Coinpanda.

Unfortunately, there are also many other unknown limitations with the KuCoin API. It is not entirely clear what other transactions are missing from their API, so we recommend that you verify that all data has been imported as best as you can. You can contact us in the live chat if you know exactly which transactions are missing so we can debug this on our end.

FTX and FTX US

The FTX API does not provide data for USD to stablecoin conversions. FTX does also not allow exporting these transactions from their web interface. The only solution now is to add these transactions manually for your portfolio to be accurate.

We encourage you to also contact FTX customer support and request that they add this functionality which is necessary for accurate tax calculations.

Bybit

The Bybit API does not provide data for all transactions from their API. You will need to first troubleshoot this yourself by comparing the transactions imported with your transaction history seen in your Bybit account. If you see one or more transactions missing, please contact us in the live chat so we can look into this specifically.

Huobi

Huobi provides trade history for the past 4 months only through both their web interface and API. If you have older trades, you will need to contact Huobi customer support to get your complete transaction history sent as a CSV file to your email address.

OKEx

OKEx provides trade history for the past 3 months only through both their web interface and API. If you have older transactions, you will need to contact OKEx customer support to get your complete transaction history sent as a CSV file to your email address. Only deposits + withdrawals older than 3 months can be imported from API at this current time.

Bibox

Bibox provides only trade history for the past 4 months through both their web interface and API. If you have older trades, you will need to contact Bibox customer support to get your complete transaction history sent as a CSV file to your email address.

Bitstamp

It looks like Bitstamp might have suffered some data loss between February 2018 and March 2018, so trades around these times may not be imported. You will need to add the missing trades manually or via CSV file import.

AscendEx

AscendEx only allows for data export for the past 3 months from their API. If you have transactions older than that, you will need to upload a CSV file with older transactions as well.

BitMart

The BitMart API can only provide trade history from the past 2-3 months. It’s not entirely clear what is the maximum time period the data is made available for. We recommend reaching out to BitMart support for more information.

Bitrue

Bitrue only allows for data export for the past 30 days from their API. If you have transactions from before that date, you will need to upload a CSV file with older transactions as well.

Phemex

The Phemex API has several limitations making it impossible to import all contract trading transactions from the API. Our recommended solution today is to import all your deposits, withdrawals, and spot trades with API, and your contract trades (closed pnl, fees, funding payments) using CSV files.

NiceHash

NiceHash does not allow exporting your spot trade history from their website currently. You will need to import using API if you have traded on the spot exchange.

Upbit (Singapore + Thailand + Indonesia)

Only limit orders can be imported at this time. This is an issue with the Upbit API. All market orders must be added manually.

Kraken Futures

Deposits, withdrawals, and funding payments cannot be imported from API. You will need to upload a CSV file or add these transactions manually.

Newton

The Newton API has some known limitations. Please check carefully that both your buys and sells have been imported. Please contact us in the live chat if you have any questions related to this.

CoinDCX

Deposits and withdrawals cannot be synced from the CoinDCX API.

Mercado Bitcoin

The Mercado Bitcoin API does not provide data for deposits or withdrawals. Only historical orders can be imported at this time.

WOO Network

WOO Network provides only trade history for the past 3 months through from their API. If you have older trades, you will need to contact WOO Network support to get your complete transaction history sent as a CSV file to your email address.

Liquid

Deposits cannot be imported from the Liquid API at the moment. We will update the integration if Liquid fixes this issue on their end sometime in the future.

EXMO

EXMO only allows trade history from the past 3 months from their API. If you have trades older than that, you will need to upload a CSV file with older transactions as well.

CEX.io

Deposits and withdrawals cannot be imported from the CEX.io API at this time. Please contact CEX.io customer support if you have questions about this.

LocalBitcoins

Only deposits and withdrawals from the past 30 days can be imported from API. You will need to upload a CSV file in addition if you have deposits/withdrawals older than that.

Bilaxy

The Bilaxy API does not provide data for deposits and withdrawals. The API also provides trade history for the past 3 months. You will need to contact Bilaxy customer support to request a historical file with older transactions.

The API service is also still offline due to the hack that happened in 2021. We do not know when or if the API service will come online again.

Crypto.com Exchange

Transactions like staking rewards, bonuses, airdrops, and other rewards cannot be imported right now because this is not provided by the Crypto.com API. This means you might see a different balance on Coinpanda than what you actually have in your exchange account. You will need to add any such missing transactions manually for now. You can also contact Crypto.com support and request that they upgrade their API to include all types of transactions like most other exchanges.

MEXC Global

Deposit and withdrawals from the past 180 days only are available from the API. Trades from the past 30 days only are available from the API. You will need to contact MEXC Global support to get a CSV file with your complete trade history.

Norwegian Block Exchange (NBX)

Deposits and withdrawals are not available from the NBX API today. You will therefore need to add these transactions manually for now.

Bithumb

Bithumb only allows for data export for the past 30 days from their API. If you have transactions from before that date, you will need to upload a CSV file with older transactions as well.

BitForex

The BitForex API provides data from the past 3 days only. We cannot import any transactions from the API for this reason. Please contact BitForex customer support and request that they upgrade the API service.

We will always update the integration instructions page with known limitations when we become aware of this. You can find all articles on the Integrations page.
